Art Group

Facilitated by Melissa

This will be an in-person adult group, with art supplies provided, (magazines for collage, colouring books, rocks, canvases, paints like acrylics and watercolour but no oil, writing is welcomed too). A time for nurturing your creative side, feeling inspired, going gently.  No experience is necessary.

Note: you do not need to attend each week.

About Melissa: Hello, I love being creative.  I have a bachelors in Fine Arts and for many years I was a volunteer counsellor at Esquimalt Neighbourhood house. I took time away to raise my three children (all under the age of 14), who are now all in school.. I feel more present and focused in life when I allow inspiration to flow through me. The art group is a time for you to reconnect with that creative side of yourself. It might even remind you what it was like to play with art like when you were a child doing finger paints in kindergarten. Here is a watercolour painting and haiku I did during one of the Monday nights in the fall of 2022.
